The Blue Effect is a Detroit area based adult contemporary jam/rock band, with ties to artists like the Grateful Dead through four-part harmony and jazz chording. Their latest EP "Wired to Groove" was released three weeks ago in Detroit and since has been played on high rotation by high profile DJ Ann Delisi (who works for a Detroit radio show and with NPR).

The Blue Effect have performed live three times on Fox 2 News, and have also played some of the biggest music festivals in the state, including Arts Beats and Eats as well as the Motown Winterblast Music Festival. They have toured the state countless times playing bar shows, but have also headlined regional venues like St. Andrew's Hall in Detroit and the Bottom Lounge in Chicago.
